What is ALATUR

ALATUR is a non profitable civil association based on the development of Tourism in rural and community contexts. It was born as a group of people who were interested in Rural Tourism as the continent´s symbol of cultural heritage concern and regional economic growth.

Our main objective is to join efforts to help develop Rural Tourism in Argentina and Latin American countries by means of actions designed to highlight local features and traditions and to promote tourist interaction with rural work in order to take part and share the essential activities carried out by local entreprices and communities as a whole.

ALATUR is mostly integrated by professional people who have attended Postgraduate Studies on Rural Tourism Management at FAUBA Agricultural Faculty of Buenos Aires University.
